C&H Taxi is a family owned and operated full service Taxicab Company. The company was started by Tom Craft and Cletus Hanley hence the name C&H Taxi in October of 1981. It was not long after that, the Corey Brothers Steve, Richard, and Bob bought the company in January of 1982. The company grew from two to over thirty cars in no time and became the premier taxi service in Charleston.
Interesting Facts about C&H Taxi:
We are actually the longest running uninterrupted taxi service the Capitol City of Charleston has ever had. We are also the largest taxi company in the state of West Virginia. Jeb Corey CEO of CH Taxi was awarded the Small Taxicab Operator of the Year in 2009 by the Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association. Richard, Jeb’s father was awarded the same award in 2002 and they are one of only a hand full of father and son operators in the country to receive the award.
